About

UniteHUD is an open-source Pokémon UNITE scoreboard tool designed to capture live game information and render a heads-up display.

How it Works

During routine intervals, the software reads from a video input source and scans for in-game events using a categorized collection of template images. When a match is detected, internal metrics are updated and served upon request via a built-in HTTP/WebSocket server.

All UI, UX, and core utilities prioritize CPU optimization as much as possible by separating "game started" and "game ended" modes.
When a game is started, UniteHUD will automatically detect scores by both teams, as well as all major objectives and other various events. When a game has ended, UniteHUD will decrease match intervals to reduce computational overhead.

Any web based application, such as the default OBS browser source included with UniteHUD, can fetch game states at regular intervals and render an overlay HUD, allowing for custom overlays to be created by the UNITE community.

UniteHUD was designed to supplement the Pokémon UNITE viewing experience for content creators, not to abuse the competitive integrity of Pokémon UNITE.
